Last month I shared some of the things that I’m thankful for. It helped me head into the holiday season with a positive, appreciative attitude. So this month, I asked the ISG Advisors team to share some of what they are grateful for.
“I am grateful for our hardworking and dedicated staff, who strive daily to make things just a little easier for our clients.”
~ Jon Braddock
“This year I am thankful for my almost 4 year old and how she continually amazes and enriches our lives. She actually makes me appreciate each day a lot more!” ~ Lisa Conwell
“I am thankful for our clients. I appreciate their continued partnership and trust in our firm.” ~ Michelle Braddock
“Traveling around Wisconsin visiting the many hospitals and staff we service I am always in awe of the beautiful state we live in. I also marvel in the change of seasons. There is no doubt, that to live here, one must be hearty enough to bear the brunt of the stiff November winds when autumn turns to winter. My mother always said it helps keep the riff-raff out. You never see many bugs in the winter. However, how could we enjoy the warm breezes of spring without putting up with months of snow and the cold temperatures? The hot summers allow us to take it all outside. And as we enjoy the color of autumn we reflect and start the cycle all over again. So, with Thanksgiving right on our doorstep, I would like to give thanks for Wisconsin, its seasons and the folks who call this their home!” ~ John Abitz
“I’m thankful that my son, Danny, wakes up every day and tells me how happy he is. I’m also thankful for all of the positive opportunities that present themselves to me.” ~ Ashley Moran
“I’m thankful for my family. They support me unconditionally regardless of how busy or hectic life currently is.” ~ Andrew Grow
“I am truly thankful to be a part of such a wonderful company; to have such a friendly work place to come to every morning, and a nice warm home with a loving family to go home to every evening.” ~ Brenda Hunt
“This year having had our oldest son graduate and move off to college, I have become somewhat nostalgic. This has made me very thankful for all of the family memories that we have made through the years. All of the family get-togethers and vacations. Lots of fun times that make me very thankful of all that we have and to remember to appreciate each day for the memories that we are making.” ~ Forrest Ross
“I’m thankful for so many things: my life, my husband, my children and their spouses, and my grandchildren. I’m thankful to have such a fulfilling and rewarding job, with bosses who are so thoughtful and generous. And of course our clients – I love every one of them because each one is different – but they all make me smile!" ~ Sheri Rasmussen
All of us at ISG Advisors are thankful for our clients and friends. Your trust and your partnership are appreciated each and every day.
Maybe it’s my imagination, but it seems that lately there are a lot of articles about being “in the now” and expressing your thanks and gratitude. All good things. I try to express my appreciation and live life fully, but I’m sure I fall short.
As I was thinking about what to write about this month, the holidays came to mind, but it seemed a little early. And then I thought about how quickly the holidays sneak up on us. Suddenly there is so much to do and so many places to be. While it may be tradition to give thanks at Thanksgiving, I’m going count my blessings early – before I get caught up in the whirlwind (and stress) of the holidays. So here are just some of the things I’m grateful for.
And I’m thankful that I have this time to pause and think about what’s important. Without these things, the holidays and celebrations would not be the same. What are you thankful for?
